“There Has To Be Clouds”. Acrylic on framed canvas

Framed acrylic (shadow frame) on canvas 40 x 30cm.  From a photograph I took in September 2022 here in North Devon. I said that no-one would believe me if I painted in this seascape using all the colours I witnessed.  This artwork, with it’s fiery orange sky reflecting perfectly on the wet sand with the black horizon, captures that moment everyone wishes would last just a little bit longer.  When things aren’t going well remember:- for there to be a sunset there has to be clouds.
